Privacy Policy

Effective date: 05.01.2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WorkSkiRV applications, including RV-Ready and RV-Going (the "Services"), collect, use, store, and disclose information.

1. Information collected

The Services may collect:

  • Account and contact information, such as name, email address, and subscription status.

  • GPS and location data, including device-derived location, trip location, route points, stop locations, timestamps, and related travel context, when the user enables location-based features.

  • Rig profile information, such as RV dimensions, weights, tow vehicle details, setup preferences, and trip-readiness settings.

  • Service usage data, such as app interactions, configuration settings, diagnostics, logs, and support history.

Google notes that apps using geolocation functionality must maintain publicly accessible terms and privacy disclosures, and Google location services may process location-related data under Google's own policies.

2. GPS and location data

The Services collect GPS or other location data only as needed to provide trip, routing, readiness, logging, or travel-related features requested by the user. Location data may be collected in the foreground, and if a feature clearly requires it, in the background while a trip or monitoring feature is active.

Location data may be used to show current position, calculate route progress, improve trip records, support RV-specific features, trigger user-requested alerts, and help diagnose app issues. Because some location-related functionality may rely on Google services, Google may process related requests under its own terms and privacy policies.

3. Rig profile storage

Rig profile data and certain user-specific settings may be stored using Google Apps Script UserProperties, which are user-scoped key-value stores intended for the current user of the script. In the Services, this storage may include RV profile details, preferences, and configuration values needed for a personalized experience.

4. How information is used

Information is used to:

  • Provide and operate the Services.

  • Store user settings and rig profile information.

  • Process subscriptions, renewals, and account administration.

  • Support route, GPS, trip, readiness, and logging features.

  • Maintain security, detect abuse, debug errors, and improve performance.

  • Communicate service-related notices, billing notices, support responses, and legal updates.

5. Data sharing and sale

The Services do not sell personal information. Google states that it does not sell personal information for ad purposes, and the Services likewise state that user information is not sold to advertisers or data brokers.

The Services do not use third-party ad tracking pixels, cross-site behavioral advertising SDKs, or third-party ad networks inside the app experience. If analytics or infrastructure providers are used, they are used for service operation, security, hosting, or diagnostics rather than third-party ad tracking.

Information may be disclosed only in limited situations, such as:

  • To infrastructure or processing providers needed to run the Services, including Google-hosted components.

  • To payment processors for subscription billing.

  • To service providers acting on behalf of the operator under appropriate confidentiality and data-use restrictions.

  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, systems, or users.

6. Data retention

The Services may retain account data, rig profile data, GPS history, trip logs, diagnostics, billing records, and related operational data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain backups, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

Data is not automatically deleted when a subscription expires or is canceled. Retention may continue after account closure or subscription lapse unless deletion is required by law or the operator separately approves and completes a deletion request.

7. Security

The Services use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Google Apps Script access to private Google service data is governed by authorization scopes, and users can revoke script access through their Google account settings.

8. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International and regional rights

Depending on the user's location, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. Requests can be submitted using the contact details below.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The operator may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.
